ORGANISERS of a rainbow-splashed celebration of the city’s vibrant communities is on the hunt for volunteers.
Masses of merrymakers are expected to pour into Rose Hill Community Centre for the Oxford Hindu Temple and Community Centre Project’s mela extravaganza on Saturday.
But organiser Kanta Gopal has said the team still need generous volunteers who are willing to donate their time to the cause.
It will be the eighth year the group have enticed families from across Oxfordshire to come together and enjoy an eclectic mix of tasty treats and flamboyant performances.
The six-hour festivities will unite community and religious groups while gathering cash to give Oxford its first Hindu Temple.
