Craig Jacob Hewitt, 26, of Barley Close, Wallingford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated on March 3 2017 in St Giles', Oxford. Fined £250. Ordered to pay compensation of £150 and costs of £85.

Jose Ramon Phillips, 55, of Scrutton Close, Oxford admitted using threatening, abusive words, behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in High Street, Oxford, on March 10 2017. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Bury Knowle park in Oxford on April 5 2017 and admitted being being drunk or disorderly in a public place, namely St Clements, Oxford, on April 8 2017. Fined £90. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

John Junior McFadyen, 29, of no fixed abode, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely a bank card, belonging to Jennifer Johnson, knowing or believing the same to be stolen goods on January 29 2017 in Oxford. Also admitted committing fraud in that he dishonestly make a false representation, namely paying for goods using a stolen bank card, intending to make a gain, namely Gold Lead tobacco and fortified win, for himself at Tesco in Magdalen Street, Oxford on January 28 2017. McFadyen also admitted to the same offence of fraud to buy Amber Leaf tobacco in Sainsburys, Magdalen Street, Oxford on the same date. Community order made. The defendant must comply with a drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 25 days. Ordered to pay £49 in compensation and costs of £85.

Rupert Patrick Holland Flint Cahan, 26, of Addison Crescent, Oxford, admitted driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit in Addison Crescent, Oxford on March 30 2017. Cahan drove a Ford transit after consuming so much alcohol that he gave a reading of 42 microgrammes in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fined £350. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Gelvin Nicholas Lyons, 33, of Sir Frank Williams Avenue, Didcot, admitted admitted driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit Milton Road, Abingdon, on April 2 2017. Lyons consumed so much alcohol that he gave a reading of 136 microgrammes in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Sentenced to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Reason for custody was the extremely high alcohol reading. Defendant must carry out 200 hour so unpaid work within the next 12 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

BANBURY

Nia Goodyer, 36, of East View Cottage, Chapel Lane, Enstone, admitted drink-driving on the B4030 Middle Barton on March 13. Had 117mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Handed a community order, with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a rehabilitation activity requirement and an 80-hour unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 48-month driving ban.

Mark Pawley, 25, of Shepherds Close, Burdrop, admitted stealing £61-worth of meat from Iceland in Banbury on April 1. Also admitted stealing Stella Artois worth £9 from Tesco in Banbury on April 2. Ordered to pay £111 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.

Jason Heath, 21, of Welland Croft, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Skinner Road, Launton, on March 23. Fined £166 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

John Thompson, 72, of Tangmere Close, Bicester, admitted stealing two packets of dig biscuits and a dog toy worth a total of £12.97 from Pets Corner, in Bicester, on March 25. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Safder Yasin, 43, of Portway, Banbury, admitted possessing cocaine, a class A drug, in Banbury on February 18. Also admitted driving whilst unfit through drugs in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on the same date. Fined £690 and ordered to pay a £39 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Steven Newell, 25, of Snowshill Drive, Witney, admitted drug-driving in Woodstock Lane, Witney, on February 25. Had 7mg of delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol in his blood, exceeding the limit of 2mcg. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Daniel Bailey, 33, of no fixed abode, admitted going equipped for theft by having a foil lined bag with him in Priory Road, Bicester, on April 17. Jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Flavius Cretu, 25, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing £150-worth of boxer shorts from Debenhams, in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on April 18. Handed a community order, with a 40-hour unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Terry Foster, 42, of Newland Road, Banbury, admitted stealing an iPhone 6 worth £400 from Kim Edwards in Banbury on July 31 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £400 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
