A MAN has been arrested outside an Oxford police station on suspicion of carrying a knife.
Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said the 33-year-old remained in custody this afternoon and was due to be interviewed.
He was arrested at 11.25am this morning outside St Aldate's Police Station on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
Mr Williams said it was not being treated as a terrorist incident.

A video seen today by the Oxford Mail appears to show the arrest.
It was posted on social media by members of the English Defence League, who are understood to have gathered outside Oxford Crown Court today for a protest.
In the video, a man can be seen being led away by officers outside the police station.
