POLICE hunting a convicted robber who disappeared say they have arrested a woman and are no longer hunting.
Lisa Stevens, 33, of Bicester, was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court in August last year, to 21 months’ imprisonment.
She was released on licence in March, and on Friday police put out an appeal for her whereabouts saying she had breached the terms of her licence by failing to live at the agreed premises.
PC Katharine Knights, based at Banbury police station, said at the time: “We are very keen to trace Lisa.
“We would like to hear from anyone who recognises her, or knows of her whereabouts, to please contact us as a matter of urgency.”
The force announced today it had arrested a 33-year-old woman, now in custody, and was no longer searching for Lisa Stevens.
