David Rees, 49, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £12-worth of alcohol from Tesco Express, in Banbury, on February 18. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £12 compensation and £35 costs.

OXFORD

Steven Bishop, 50, of Sea Front, Hayling Island, Hampshire, admitted assaulting a woman and causing her actual bodily harm in Radley between August 7 and August 8, 2015. Handed a 12-week sentence, suspended for 12 weeks, and ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

James Gibbs, 28, of Sir Frank Williams Avenue, Didcot, admitted breaching a restraining order by harassing a woman, by emailing her, which he was prohibited from doing, between November 29 and December 3 last year. Handed a community order, with a 40-hour unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

James Salisbury, 20, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, admitted causing criminal damage by damaging a window and bannister in Abingdon on February 6. Also admitted assaulting a woman by beating her on the same date. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £200 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ronald Winfield, 79, of Foxborough Road, Radley, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her between October 1 and October 31 last year. Also admitted assaulting her by beating on January 14. Handed an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Webb, 36, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a woman in Abingdon by beating her on November 25 last year. Convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on the same date. Also admitted causing about £250-worth of damage to a Vauxhall Corsa on December 27 last year. Handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and a 60-hour unpaid work requirement. Ordered to pay £550.80 compensation and £350 costs. Also made subject to a restraining order.

Charles Molyneux, 36, of Summers House, Coxhill Way, admitted stealing £225-worth of alcohol from Midcounties Co-operative Supermarket, in High Street, Thame, on February 9. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Brady, 32, of Erica Close, Oxford, admitted stealing two boxes of Lacoste Red fragrance worth a total of £160, one box of Old Spice fragrance worth £9.59, six boxes of Gillette razors worth a total of £162, three boxes of Lady Million fragrance, one box of Jimmy Choo fragrance and four Christmas fragrance box sets worth a total of £120, from Superdrug, in High Street, Kidlington, on September 7, September 19, October 24, October 25 and November 30 last year. Also admitted stealing £130.76-worth of meat from Co-op, in Walton Street, Oxford, on October 10 last year and January 14.

Also admitted stealing a total of £109-worth of meat and poultry from BP Express Service Station, near the A40 Wolvercote roundabout, Oxford, on November 28 and December 4 last year, and January 10. Handed an eight-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a six-month drug rehabilitation activity requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Darren Paul Potter, 51, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, admitted placing himself in a public place, street, highway, court or passage, namely Magdalen Street, to beg or gather alms on November 11 2016 having previously been convicted of such an offence. Discharged conditionally for three months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Janusz Lach, 50, of Oakley Wood, Benson, Wallingford, admitted driving a motor vehicle, namely a Fiat Punto, on November 10 2016 in Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, while above the legal alcohol limit. Lach gave a reading of 234 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes. Also admitted an offence of using a motor vehicle when there was not in force, in relation to that use, such a policy of insurance or security in respect of third party risks as complied with the requirements. Fined £240. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

Christopher Anthony McGahan, 28, of Cuxham, Watlington, admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely Cocaine, on November 16 2016 at Postcombe. Also admitted using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance on the same date in the same location. Fined £200. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 ad costs of £85. Driving record endorsed with six points. Cocaine to be forfeited under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and destroyed.

Dawn Suzanne Chainey, 49, of Clapcot Way, Wallingford, was convicted using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance in Wallingford on March 29 2016. Also convicted of driving on a road, a motor vehicle while not wearing a seat belt on the same date in the same location. Fined £300. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £50. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.

Peter Bernard Farr, 63, of Lymbrook Close, South Leigh, Witney, admitted being the driver of a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident on August 1 2016 in Witney. Also admitted being the driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident and failing to report that accident on the same date in the same location. Fined £240. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Driving record endorsed with seven points.

Amber Clare Flood, 26, of Norman Smith Road, Greater Leys, Oxford, was convicted of driving a motor vehicle when above the legal alcohol limit Watlington Road, Cowley, Oxford on July 7 2016. Flood gave a reading of 176 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. Fined £180. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £350. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months
