EXTRA unforeseen road closures for re-paving work are taking place as part of Oxford’s hospital energy project.

Pipeline contractor Vital Energi has said All Saints Road, from the junction with Lime Walk towards Barrington Close near the Headington hospital sites, will be closed from May 2 to May 5 for resurfacing work.

Access to Barrington Close will be kept open and traffic to and from Lime Walk and All Saints will be diverted around the block.

The £14.8m pipeline being built between the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals is set to save the local NHS millions in energy costs once the six-month project, currently a week behind schedule, is complete.
