ALL aboard!
In June 1984 this is how the girls of the Vera Legge Dancing School made their way to the Apollo Theatre (as the New Theatre then was) for two major productions.
After a disappointing blow when the girls were not chosen to take part in that year's Christmas panto, the school was instead invited to join a production of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.
Teacher Diana Brown, who led dance classes at the Cowley Community Centre, said the girls were delighted.
She told the Oxford Mail: "We are very pleased and of course the girls were absolutely thrilled to come back again."
