A MAN was taken to safety after he was seen teetering on the edge of a bridge on the A40.
Police officers put a rolling road block in place at 7.30am this morning after being called to a fear for welfare incident.
Social media reports suggested the man was sat on the other side of the bridge barrier above Ducklington Lane.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Holly Claydon-Bevan said: "The incident was safely concluded shortly before 8am and the man was brought to safety."
