A COMMUNITY in Abingdon will show support for residents of the Philippines.
Christians will gather at Abingdon Baptist Church for the annual Women’s World Day of Prayer service, which has a different theme each year.
This time the prayer was written by women in the Philippines and reflects their hopes and fears for their country.
It will mention the destruction caused by Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the islands when it struck in 2013.
The special prayer services run at the Ock Street church on Friday, March 3, at 10.30am and 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
