Motown legends The Jacksons will bring their funky disco beats to Blenheim Palace this summer.

The band, who are marking their 50th anniversary, have been revealed as the second band to play the Woodstock stately home's Nocturne series.

They play the palace's Great Court on Sunday, June 18, with support from fellow disco icons Kool & The Gang, famous for hits Get Down On It, Celebration, Ladies Night and Jungle Boogie.

They join contemporary classical composer Max Richter at the Nocturne series, with a third big name still to be announced.

Featuring brothers Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon, the show is part of a global tour – the first since the loss of Michael in 2009.

The Nocturne concert series, which last year featured performances from Elton John, Jack Savoretti and The Corrs, runs from June 15-18.

Tickets start at £45 and are on sale at 9am on Wednesday from nocturnelive.com.
