A CAR was stolen outside a home in Barton after its owner left it to de-ice for a matter of minutes.
On Sunday just after 7am, a silver Volkswagen Polo was stolen from a home in Burchester Avenue.
Thames Valley Police said the car was left with the engine running to warm up and de-mist while the owner popped back in the house.
Officers added when he returned a few minutes later the car was gone.
