TWO businesswomen have been given a warm welcome over the festive period after opening a pop-up shop in Wallingford.
Patti Miskolczi and Miranda Blaas-Cousins have leased 29 High Street for a six-week pop-up, and have opened as Home & living, with a combination of hand-finished home decor, and a collection of individual pieces including Asian artefacts, Scandinavian modern accessories, wildlife drawings, oil paintings and jewellery.
Ms Blaas-Cousins said: "The pop-up shop is a great opportunity for us to interact with customers."
Ms Miskolczi added: "I can speak to my customers face to face, receive their feedback and decide about my future product range."
The new venture is the latest in a series of temporary shops in the town.
The project started in July last year, with Flashop UK Ltd directors Neil Wild and Iain Nicholson aiming to reduce the number of empty shops in the town centre.
