WE all like making a grand entrance at our Christmas parties – but few of us will make the same impact as this pair of lovely lookers.

The sisters are the comic stars of Oxford Playhouse's all-singing and all-dancing production of Cinderella, and their capers are delighting audience members of all ages.

Joseph Alessi, who plays Cinders' stepsister Martha, and Stephen Ventura, 'her' sibling Arthur, are hamming it up for laughs in the popular panto, which continues at the Beaumont Street venue until January 8.

The children's classic also stars Rochelle Rose in the lead role, alongside Prince Charming, Max Olesker – who previously found fame as Britain’s youngest professional wrestler.

Mr Olesker, 29, said this was his first pantomime. He added: "It seemed like a tremendously fun idea, even though I had never done it before.

"It has been the best year and this has given it an extra twist at the end.I have a few Queen and Prince numbers to sing and am giving it my best. It's a great show."

And how does he describe his role as Prince Charming? "He is sensational, seminal and epoch defining," he smiles. "Actually he is quite dim, more like a character from Made in Chelsea – but he grows on you!"
