Amy Thorpe, 31, of O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a bag containing an Apple watch and £45 cash from Wuyi Shen in Starbucks Coffee, Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on November 24. Also admitted stealing a brown Gucci bag belonging to Honor Cargill-Marten in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on the same date. Also admitted dishonestly receiving a stolen iPhone belonging to Hayley Harris in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on the same date. Also admitted going equipped for theft by having a foiled line bag with her. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. Jailed for 21 days and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Michael Maxwell Elphick, 32, of Springfield Road, Wantage, admitted stealing two joints of meat to the value of £34.92 belonging to J Sainsbury PLC on November 11. Also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order imposed for a previous offence of theft in January. Fined £100. Ordered to pay compensation of £239, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £50. No action taken on breach.

Justin Guildea, 43, of Westfield Road, Witney, admitted driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit on November 6. Guildea produced a reading of 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £120. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 22 months.

Charlotte Elizabeth Pauling, 29, of The Liberty, Jericho Canal, Oxford, was convicted in her absence of assaulting PC Prout in the execution of his duty at a public toilet in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on August 4. Also pleaded guilty to three charges of failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court having been released on bail on three separate occasions. Community order made until November 2017. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and fined £50.

Samuel James Richardson, 28, of Foxborough Road, Radley, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear at the Bowyer Arms in Radley, on November 6. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay compensation of £5, a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85.

James Patrick Lennon, 43, of Field Avenue, Cowley, admitted stealing an object to the value of £15 belonging to Paula Hembury in St Giles Close, Oxford on October 28. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £100.

Daniel James Hart, 43, of Lye Valley, Oxford, admitted harassing Saad Qureshi to fear that violence would be used against him via text messages and emails between August 12 and September 6. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made not to contact directly or indirectly Saad Qureshi and not go to an address on Asquith Road, Oxford, for any reason. Order lasts until November 20 2018. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85.

Radoslaw Mikolajczak, 28, of no fixed abode, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place on November 11 in Headley Way, Headington. Fined £100. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.

Paul Quinn, 41, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class B, amphetamine, on November 19 at Abingdon Police Station. Fined £150. Amphetamine forfeited and destroyed.

BANBURY

Paul Chilton, 34, of Merton House, Banbury, admitted damaging a door and frame worth £859.86 belonging to Sanctuary Housing in Merton Street, Banbury, on February 1. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £200 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Daniel McCarthy, 35, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury, admitted stealing 200 litres of red diesel belonging to Peter Benny Ltd in Wroxton on May 23. Handed a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Trevor Grant, 38, of Appleby Close, Banbury, admitted stealing fragrances worth £120 from Debenhams, in Banbury, on November 10. Handed a 28-day sentence suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Alexandru Augustin, 24, of Manchester Terrace, Bicester, admitted driving whilst unfit through drink on the A41 Bicester on November 6. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £80 costs.Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Harry Brookes, 24, of Woburn Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Banbury, on November 6. Had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Robert Eagle, 24, of Heather Road, Bicester, admitted drug-driving in Whitelands Way, Chesterton, on September 3. Had 5.1 micrograms of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood, exceeding the limit of two micrograms. Fined £275 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Richard Bennett, 42, of Augustan Road, Chesterton, admitted drink-driving in Vendee Drive, Bicester, in September 13.
