A POPULAR exhibition at a Woodstock museum is giving people across the county the opportunity to enjoy a vibrant range of crafts from local makers.

Oxfordshire Museum in Park Street is hosting Oxfordshire Craft Guild’s flagship exhibition, a showcase of some of the county’s most talented craftspeople.

Lorraine Horne, of the museum, said this year’s exhibition was one of the best it had ever held.

She said: “We’re really thrilled to showcase some of the superb craftsmanship in this exhibition – and it’s all from our own county, which is great.

“I think the exhibition this year is one of the best we’ve had – and it’s always one of our most popular exhibitions of the year.

“When you work with the Oxfordshire Craft Guild you are assured of a really high standard. The y are excellent in their field.”

The exhibition fills two galleries with displays of crafts including glasswork, felt making and ceramics.

It will be available to see at the museum up until December 31. It is free to enter and pieces in the exhibition can be purchased.

Pieces from members of the guild are available to view all year round in the museum's shop.
