A VAN driver had to cut free and taken to hospital after he suffered serious leg injuries in a crash with a lorry near Bicester.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident on the road between Stratton Audley and Marsh Gibbon, which left the front of the van crushed.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called just after 9am this morning and had to cut the van driver in his 30s free before South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) took him to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
SCAS spokesman David Gallagher said: "As well as his leg injuries he also sustained an arm injury."
Incident Commander crew manager Pete Mackay said: "I would remind people to take care in this Autumn weather, stopping distances increase dramatically when the roads are wet and extra care is needed to make sure that you get home safe and sound."
