CHINESE tourists are back in numbers at the increasingly popular sightseeing destination of Kidlington.
After much speculation as to why large groups regularly appear wandering the streets of the Oxfordshire village, reader Daniel Mason tweeted this picture from earlier today.
It shows a crowd strolling the streets of the village - the largest in Oxfordshire - with neighbours previously reporting tourists peering into their windows and admiring their hanging baskets.
Graham Mason, from The Moors, said he saw the tourists return at about 9.10am this morning and he managed to snap a picture.
He added: "There was a big group of them back again and they were walking up the road looking in all the gardens taking photos on their phones.
"I hadn't seen them for a while since the last time, although we heard they were here last week, they just wander about for half an hour."

Mr Mason says he has approached group leaders to ask them why groups seem to favour Kidlington as a destination, but the language barrier has made it difficult to get answers.
The villager added that he has approached a coach driver, who simply said that he was specifically asked to stop in Kidlington.
Last month, the BBC reported that Chinese tour leaders had told them they were seeking for the 'true sense' of the country.
Residents have also suggested that Kidlington is a handy stop-off point on the way to Bicester Village.
