ONE of the most important dates on the city’s musical calendar, Audioscope has been bringing world-class artists to the city for 16 years – all in the name of good music and charity.

Since being launched by Simon Minter and Stuart Fowkes, pictured, it has raised more than £30,000 for homelessness charity Shelter.

This year’s event takes place at The Bullingdon, Cowley Road, Oxford, tonight (Friday), and features a stunning line-up, with Nøught, Tomaga - boasting half of The Oscillation, Ben Duvall of Easter Island Head, and Rhys Chatham’s ‘Guitar Trio’ presented by The Oxford Guitar Orchestra.

It is the return of Nøught that will get fans of Audioscope’s trademark alt-rock and electronica excited. Featuring Oxford legend James Sedwards, the band are an extraordinary live act, melding hardcore, jazz, math-rock and more.

Unmissable.
