LIBRARIES across Oxfordshire are search for the county’s best short story writer.
Aspiring authors across the county are being urged to enter the annual competition, with separate categories for adults and young adults.
The winners, who will be announced in March, will get to see their entries published as an eBook and available via the library website, to be borrowed and read across the county.
The council’s cabinet member for cultural services Lorraine Lindsay-Gale said: "Previous winners have been some of the most borrowed eBooks in our collection so this is a great chance to get your unique writing voice heard, and could be an inspiring first step for new writers of all ages."
The deadline for entries is January 4. For further details visit oxfordshire.gov.uk
