The latest round-up of results from magistrates' courts.

Leigh Lester, 43, of Vulcon Court, Warwick Road, Banbury, admitted failing to hand over his ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so in Banbury on April 27. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £37.90 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £130 costs.

Scott Hadlow, 36, of no fixed abode, admitted damaging a computer screen worth between £2,000 and £3,000 belonging to the Nuffield Health Centre, Oxford, on September 20. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, at Abingdon Police Station on the same date. Also admitted causing racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress to Esmail Hanif at the Nuffield Health Centre on the same date. Handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £1,100 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and a £150 fine.

Michael Light, 19, of Purslane Drive, Bicester, admitted entering a train without a valid ticket near Bicester Village on April 9. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £4.10, a £20 victim surcharge and £65 costs.

Barry Bloom, 38, of Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order by not attending supervision sessions and failing to notify or seek permission to change address between June 21 and August 2. Fined £50.

Gary Wickens, 34, of Leach Road, Bicester, was convicted in his absence of failing to hand over his ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so near Bicester North on March 9. Fined £220 and ordered to pay £5 compensation, a £22 victim surcharge and £130 costs.

Jake Orwa, 23, of Oxford House, King's End, Bicester, admitting failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by not attend rehabilitation activity requirement sessions on July 21 and August 2. Fined £80.

Adil Hammed, 20, of Quartermain Close, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting Tony Surman by beating him in Oxford on March 26. Admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on August 5. Handed a community order, with a 50-hour unpaid work requirement. Also ordered to pay £150 compensation, an £100 fine, a £60 victim surcharge and £665 costs.

Tony Chandler, 47, of Windle Gardens, Bicester, admitted using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment or alarm or distress to Charley Dale in Purslane Drive, Bicester, on July 25. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £300 costs. Made subject to a restraining order.

Darren Goodwin, 28, of Campra Road, Daisy Bank, Abingdon, admitted damaging property by spilling paint within a property in Burton Place, Oxford, on July 29. Handed a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £30 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Made subject to a restraining order.

Shawn Parmakis, 63, of Banbury Road, Swerford, near Chipping Norton, admitted speeding at 105mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 near Beaconsfield on March 17. Fined £500 and ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Oxford

Shaun Buchan, 28, of Coopers Lane, Abingdon, admitted stealing meat and alcohol worth £6.54 from Tesco in Oxford on September 17. Given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £45 costs.

Jordan Edwards, 18, of McMullan Close, Wallingford, admitted drink-driving on Mereland Road, Didcot, on September 4. Had 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £97 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Chloe Wilson, 24, of Long Wittenham High Street, admitted drink-driving on Sir Frank Williams Avenue, Didcot, on September 4. Had 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Claire Gill, 39, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing three mascaras worth a total of £35.97 from Boots in Oxford on August 12. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates' Court on August 26 having been released on bail from Cowley Police Station on August 12. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £15 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.

Jackie Forsyth, 47, of Welford Gardens, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Ock Street, Abingdon, on September 4. Had 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £308 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from holding a driving licence for two years.

Jack Murphy, 26, of Wilmot Close, Witney, admitted carrying a kitchen knife in a public place, namely Burwell Drive, Witney, on January 30. Also admitted stealing two perfume box sets and two beard trimmers worth £50 from Lloyds Pharmacy on Burford Road, Carterton, on January 18. Also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on July 2 and criminally damaging a bus timetable in Witney on July 12. Given a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 18 months and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £50 compensation.

Tracey Quinn, 53, of Oxen Place, Great Milton, near Oxford, admitted failing to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in living circumstances which would affect her entitlement to Disability Living Allowance, namely that her mobility had improved between April 2011 and August 2015. Given a community order with a six-week curfew from 9pm to 4am and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge.

Gemma Richardson, 29, of Hockmore Tower, Pound Way, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £76 from Heyford Hill Sainsbury's on August 26. Also admitted stealing two pair of jeans and a belt from someone's house on Cottesmore Road, Oxford, having entered as a trespasser on August 26. Also admitted stealing £85.59 worth of meat from Marston Road Co-op in Oxford on April 20. Given a 13-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £176 compensation, a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Fabian Williams, 32, of Lenthall Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 4. Had 85 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £276, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 40 months.
