A 20-YEAR-OLD man has died following a crash near Wantage in the early hours of this morning.
The man was travelling in a silver Renault Clio on Faringdon Road in West Challow when he came off the road just after the railway bridge near the junction with New Road at 12.22am and crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from the area, suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene.
Tributes have begun to be paid on social media to the man, who has not yet been named, and is described as a "true gent".
Craig Gillott said: "One of the genuine good guys. Taken far far to soon. RIP."
Vikki Denly posted: "RIP - taken far too soon and missed by many! Still can't believe it xxxx"
And Michelle Ockwell wrote: "Love and thoughts with the family. Forever in our hearts. Nicest guy ever! Had such a heart of gold."

Roads policing officers have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
