A BED and breakfast in Witney is set to appear on a popular Channel 4 series.
Hawthorn House, a Victorian country house overlooking the Windrush Valley from Burford Road, will be seen competing against other B&Bs from across the country on Four in a Bed.
The show, which sees B&B owners visit each other's businesses and rate each other on how much they enjoyed their stay, will run from Monday, October 3, until Friday, October 7. Filming was conducted in April and May this year.
Owner Alison Smallman, 52, said: "I really enjoyed it. It was great fun. I had the chance to travel to different B&Bs in Cornwall, Wells and Devon.
"It was good seeing how other people manage it. One of them had only been doing it for four weeks, one for 15 years, and one had 22 years' experience."
She was not be able to reveal who had been crowned the best B&B of the episode, meaning viewers will have to watch the show to see the final result on Friday.
Mrs Smallman, who appeared on the show with neighbour Colin Dickenson, has run Hawthorn House for the past decade, and will be featured on the show alongside Mr Dickenson throughout the week.
The episode in which the other B&B owners visit Witney will be aired on Wednesday at 4pm.
