Wallingford Town Council has two new councillors this morning following last night's by-election.
The election was held after long-standing councillor Alec Hayton retired, along with Kevin Harvey.
Matthew Cockman and Lee Upcraft have been elected to the council.
The results were as follows: Matthew Cockman 377, Mavis Connell 258, Robert McGregor 318,Elisabeth Neighbour 149, James Neighbour 94, Jeremy Reeve 293, and Lee Upcraft 435.
With an electorate of 6,019 the turnout was 17.4 per cent.
Town mayor Ros Lester said: "I am looking forward to working with both new councillors - I am sure they have lots of good ideas for the town."
