Paul Haines, 51, of Mayfield Avenue, Grove, admitted drink-driving in Mayfield Avenue, Grove, on August 3. Had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £515 and ordered to pay a £52 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Alessandro Loi, 33, of Cardinal Close, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Beaumont Street, Oxford, on August 4. Had 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 12 months.

Leon Snelson, 32, of Lundon Street, Faringdon, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour towards a man causing him or another person harassment, alarm or distress in Arkell Gardens, Carterton, on August 18. Fined £375 and ordered to pay a £38 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Claire Thewlis, 42, of The Gap, Marcham, admitted drink-driving in Ock Street, Abingdon, on August 7. Had 75 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £170 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 18 months.

Colin Whiteley, 48, of St Clement’s Street, Oxford, admitted damaging glasses, crockery and a plant pot worth £40 in Faringdon on August 20. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay £40 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. 

Wayne Brain, 41, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted possessing amphetamine, a class B drug, in Cowley Road, Oxford, on July 10. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. 

Mark Stockton, 43, of Jerome Way, Shipton on Cherwell, convicted of two counts of resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty in Kidlington on January 1. Fined a total of £240 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £400 costs.

Ribeiro De-Marchi, 28, of Elder Way, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Cowley Road, Oxford, on August 7. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £275 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 12 months.

Jonathan Griffin, 25, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food from Tesco in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on June 16. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made at Oxford Magistrates' Court on May 6 for two charges of theft. Given a community order requiring six months of rehabilitation treatment and ordered to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Keith Jones, 52, of Nuffield Road, Headington, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Cramner Road, Oxford, on July 7. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge. Banned from holding a driving licence for 26 months.

Damon Richardson, 43, of Ferry Lane, Cholsey, admitted drink-driving on the A4074 on August 9. Had 115 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35 micrograms legal limit. Banned from driving for 23 months and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Thomas Morgan, 20, of Botany Gardens, Crowmarsh Gifford, near Wallingford, was convicted of drink-driving in Broadway, Didcot, on May 29. Had 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35 micrograms legal limit. Fined £340 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £350 costs. Banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Kevin Barker, 52, of Coopers Piece, Wallingford, admitted possessing a knife blade in a public place, namely Wallingford, on July 15. Fined £140 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £80 costs.

Samuel Delaney, 22, of Lains Court, Wolage Drive, Grove, admitted stealing an eight-pack of Stella worth £9.99 from Rowes Newsmarket in Wallingford Street, Wantage, on April 20 and stealing a Stella fridge pack, a can of cider and a can of Special Brew worth a total of £14.57 from McColls in Faringdon Market Place on April 30. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £24.56 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Mark Gilligan, 21, of Jane Seaman Court, Shepherds Hill, Oxford, admitted assaulting Paul Robinson by beating him in Oxford on February 2. Fined £500 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nathan Blackman, 20, of Simon House, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Banbury Magistrates' Court on October 19, 2015, by failing to attend three rehabilitation sessions in July. Fined £50.

Charlene Bryson, 34, of Herons Walk, Abingdon, admitted assaulting Ian McKenzie by beating him in Abingdon on May 7 and admitted resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty on the same occasion. Fined £188 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Simon Stanley, 49, of Upway Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone on Banbury Road in Oxford on September 17. Fined £325 and ordered to pay £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with four points.

Sandesh Pauskar, 28, of Waynflete Road, Oxford, admitted driving in Hollow Way, Oxford, without insurance on December 13, 2015. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Bruce Podmore, 52, of Vicarage Lane, Piddington, near Bicester, admitted speeding at 38mph in a 30mph zone on the B4011 at Oakley on September 5, 2015. Fined £140 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Paul Best, 59, of Thornley Close, Abingdon, admitted speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone on the A415 at Abingdon on October 4, 2015. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Paul Craigen, 68, of The Green South, Warborough, admitted speeding in a 30mph zone on the A4074 Portway in Crowmarsh Gifford on February 16. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
