RESIDENTS who took part in a princely picnic in Drayton helped to raise more than £200 for their village green.
Organisers of the royal-themed spread at the Millennium Green announced the preliminary total following the family feast on August 21.
Highlights included a baking competition, the crowning and throning of a prince and princess after which winners won a cuddly corgi, a treasure hunt and a tombola.
The cash will be used to provide more seating on the green.
