TELEVISION favourite Dominic Littlewood has been spotted out in Oxford this week speaking to people about law enforcement.

The star of consumer shows Cowboy Builders and Fake Britain was reportedly in the city to film a segment for popular BBC One programme The One Show.

The piece is understood to be about Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs), which can be used to ban a range of behaviours seen as anti-social and punishable by on-the-spot fines of up to £100.

A PSPO came into effect in Oxford city centre in February while another is being planned for Banbury.

For the segment Mr Littlewood spoke to busking campaigner Jonny Walker, who had urged local authorities not to fine people who perform in public areas without permission.

He said: "We were talking about PSPOs and how they are being used around the country, and how we called for safeguards to stop local authorities from criminalising activities.

"He was talking to other people as well on Cornmarket Street, I think he was just trying to get a flavour of what is going on in the city."

It is not known when the segment will appear on the show.
