GRAHAM TAYLOR, 54, of Ruscote Arcade, Banbury, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Castle Quay, Banbury, on July 18. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

DAVINDER SINGH, 36, of Cricket Road, Oxford, convicted of driving a vehicle without insurance or a licence in Rymers Lane, Oxford, on September 9. Fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for six months.

ZAFRAAN MAHMOOD, 22, of South Street, Banbury, admitted driving whilst unfit through drugs in Hennef Way, Banbury, on May 6. Had 7 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood, above the legal limit of two micrograms. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 18 months.

STEPHEN HIGGINS, 45, of Hamble Drive, Abingdon, convicted of speeding at 69mph in a 40mph zone on the A34 at Milton on June 9, 2015. Fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

KAREN CHAPMAN, 31, of The Crescent, Bicester, admitted harassment by verbally abusing a man, making false reports to the RSPCA and sending flowers to him between May 1, 2015 and December 13, 2015. Made subject to a restraining order and fined £100. Ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.

JAK GODFREY, 29, of Vulcan Court, Banbury, admitted obtaining services dishonestly by staying at The Witney Hotel in Witney for two nights in November without paying in full. Also admitted obtaining services dishonestly by staying at The Rose Revived in Newbridge for four nights in November without paying in full and by staying at The Bell Inn in Ducklington for nine nights in November and December without paying in full. Sentenced to a total of eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £1,110 compensation, £85 costs and an £80 victims’ surcharge.

PAUL CLARKE, 34, of Barwood Court, Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted stealing meat products worth £66.35 from the Co-operative in Rotary Way, Banbury on March 15 and stealing meat worth £50 from the same shop on March 2. Also admitted stealing meat worth £50 from the Co-operative in Buckingham Road, Bicester, on January 24 and admitting a further offence whilst subject to an order of conditional discharge. Ordered to pay £80 compensation.

OXFORD

KENNETH STOTER, 55, of St Mary’s Way, Wantage, convicted of dropping a cigarette in a public place in Grove Street, Wantage, on February 24. Fined £255 and ordered to pay a £26 victims’ surcharge and £627.50 costs.

BARRY LLOYD, 43, of Juniper House, Clarke’s Court, Banbury, admitted criminal damage to property by damaging a window belonging to a woman in Juniper House, Clarke’s Court, on August 1. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

ROSEMARY MAUGHAN, 43, of Fiennes Road, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing worth £27.98 from New Look in Abingdon on June 24 and stealing cosmetics of an unknown value from Superdrug in Abingdon on the same date. Also admitted having a foil-lined shopping bag for use in, or in connection with, theft in a car park in Bury Street, Abingdon, on the same date. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

MARION RISI-GOVIER, 28, of Rochford Gardens, Bicester, admitted being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle in the car park of the Bullnose Morris pub in Watlington Road, Oxford, on June 3. Had 176 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £345 and ordered to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for six months.

DARREN BRADY, 32, of Wisdon Way, Kidlington, Oxford, admitted stealing meat worth £50 from BP Express garage in Wolvercote. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £200 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

SCOTT HADLOW, 36, of no fixed address, admitted damaging a police cell by urinating on the floor, throwing hot chocolate at the wall and throwing wet toilet paper on to the wall in Abingdon police station on February 6. Also admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Abingdon on the same date and failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 15 and committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. Ordered to take part in rehabilitation activity for a maximum of 30 days and to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

NATALIE FRENCH, 29, of Essex Street, Oxford, admitted speeding at 31mph in a 20mph zone in Morrell Avenue, Oxford, on August 18. Fined £295 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with four points.

KELLY GREENING, 34, of West Brook, Grove, admitted speeding at 53mph in a 30mph zone in Lamborough Hill, Wootton, on September 12. Fined £185. Ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.
