CAMERA crews returned to the streets of Oxford this weekend as filming continued for the fourth series of Endeavour.
Fans of the ITV hit show watched on as Roger Allam, who plays Detective Fred Thursday, and other actors gather in St Helen’s Passage to take part in a scene intriguingly described as a “shakedown”.

New episodes of the show, which tells the story of a young Inspector Morse played by Shaun Evans, are due to air next year.
Onlooker Bob Clark, 68, a tourist from the USA, happened to be passing when he caught a glimpse of one of his favourite TV programmes being filmed.
He said: "I am fascinated because I've watched every Morse tale, from the beginning of the series until now, and I just love it.
"Endeavour is currently on in Washington and to see this is just fantastic. It adds to the pleasure to see these people in real life."
Filming has been taking place for a number of weeks. In July the cast and crew were seen near the Radcliffe Camera and in New College when also posed for pictures with fans.
