DRIVERS and bus passengers likely to pass through The Plain roundabout on the night of Monday, August 1 are warned that delays are likely due to roadworks.

Work will be carried out on the roundabout starting at 9pm and is set to last for three to four hours.

Remedial work to the coloured surfacing on the approach to The Plain as well as the installation of new road markings will be carried out.

Temporary four-way signals will be in place from 9pm and buses and bus stops will be operational all night as usual.

A statement from Oxfordshire County Council said: "We would like to advise that on the night of 1st August 2016, Oxfordshire County Council will be carrying out roadworks on The Plain roundabout.

"We anticipate that there will be some delays on the network and to minimise disruption, the signals will be manually controlled."
