A POLICE operation to tackle street robberies in Oxford over the busy summer months is under way and will last until Friday, September 30.
Officers from Thames Valley Police will be working alongside language schools and Oxford City Council to reduce the risk of street robberies during the season, which sees an influx of both tourists and students attending courses arrive in Oxford. 'Hot spot' areas will also be more frequently patrolled.
