CHASING huge bubbles in the sun proved to be a great start to the summer holidays for youngsters in Eynsham.
A family Play and Activity Day was held at The Playing Fields in the village on Friday, organised by the Oxfordshire Play Association.
One little boy who spent hours blowing bubbles and running after them was Isaac Bathe, age two, from Brize Norton.
He went along to the free family event with mum Hannah, his four-year-old brother William and his auntie and cousins.
Mum Hannah said: "It was an amazing day actually. I'd seen these play days advertised online and was always a bit sceptical. I thought it would be free to get in then you'd have to pay for everything.
"But we didn't and it was so good, the boys loved it. My eldest loved the go-karts. We had to queue up in the hot sun three occasions for those. And Isaac loved the bubbles.
"We were so lucky with the weather though.
"There was such a nice variation of activities. I went along with my sister and her children who are aged six and eight, and they all found something to do."
