HANNEY Royal British Legion has invited locals to a party for the Queen's 90th birthday and an anniversary of its own.
The local legion branch "66 Club" will also mark its 50th birthday with the party at its Mill Orchard centre on Saturday, July 9, starting at 12.30pm.
Visitors can expect a bar, cream teas and games from children.
The afternoon celebration will be followed by an evening "summer prom" and supper with the Wantage Silver Band, starting at 7.30pm.
Entrance for the evening do will cost £10.
