AN annual flower show in Radley will lack its usual fete this year, after no-one stepped forward to organise it.
The sweet scent of pollen will swirl through the village as it hosts horticulture lovers on Saturday, but a small car boot sale will replace the summer fete that usually runs alongside it.
The village's retirement group will run the car boot and has invited local groups to bring items to sell.
Gardeners and plant lovers can still gather at Radley Village Hall from 1pm until 4pm to admire an impressive collection of flora and fauna.
