SAT navs, cash and a handbag were stolen in a spate of burglaries in Didcot.

On Friday, between 11.45pm and 3am on Saturday a burglar entered a home in Dart Drive through an insecure conservatory door.

They stole a purse, wallet, two Sat Navs and a mobile phone.

A second burglary targeted a home in Haydon Road between Sunday and Monday.

A handbag and its contents were stolen as burglars entered through an insecure door.

Overnight yesterday and today burglars crept through an insecure bedroom window in Barnes Close.

A driving licence, bank card and cash was stolen.

Police are advising residents to be extra vigilant, to check their home security and ensure their property is secure at night and when going out, and to remove any valuable items from view of doors or windows.
