1. Our top story: Landlords in Oxford have warned that a new licensing scheme set to be introduced by Oxford City Council could drive up rents even further.

A draft document to be seen by councillors next month says the scheme, which aims to tackle "rogue landlords" and improve standards, could be introduced by January 2017.

But landlords have hit back against the move, saying it amounted to "ideological hatred" and would lead to rent increases.

2. Traffic: Busy but moving so far across town with heavier traffic than usual on the M40 Southbound.

4. Most read online: Two people were rushed to hospital with "serious injuries" on Saturday night after a crash on the A34.

The incident occurred at about 9.55pm. One car travelling Southbound is believed to have careered into the central reservation near East Ilsley and was then involved in a collision with another vehicle on the northbound carriageway.

5. Picture of the day: Communities across the county gathered over the weekend to raise a glass to Her Majesty the Queen on her 90th birthday. 

Street parties went ahead despite the drizzle, including one in Pipkin Way, Easy Oxford, attended by neighbours Pat Curtis and Julie Allaway.
