OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Robert Bromwell, 32, of O’Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing £42 worth of toiletries from Boots, in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on April 29. Also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order by committing an offence. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Timothy Marris, 47, of Gainsborough Green, Abingdon, admitted assaulting Nathan Cargill in Abingdon on April 28. Also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order by committing an offence. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Ashraf Ali, 39, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis or cannabis resin, a class B drug, in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on October 25 last year. Fined £125 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Clough Dent, 44, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing clothing, a knife and two torches worth £44.96 from TK Maxx, in Oxford, on April 14. Handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £45 costs.

Lucian Teodorescu, 28, of Laburnum Road, Botley, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on the A34 on April 17. Had 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 17-month driving ban.

Wellington Silva, 30, of Thames View Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cocaine, a class A drug, and cannabis or cannabis resin, a class B drug, in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on October 25 last year. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Tracey, 51, of Lambs Crescent, Banbury, admitted sending a voice message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, in Banbury on March 29. Also admitted assaulting Martin Horne by beating him in Banbury on April 30. Handed a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Webb, 34, of Abbott Road, Didcot, admitted stealing alcohol from Iceland, in Didcot, between March 2 and March 9. Ordered to pay £221 compensation.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

Leon Caton, 24, of Alma Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B, at Banbury Police Station, in Warwick Road, on November 27 last year. Handed a £80 fine and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Jackson, 48, of Abingdon Road, Standlake, admitted drink driving a Peugeot 207 in Lower Road, Long Hanborough, on March 31 this year. Jackson had 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35 microgramme limit. He was handed an £810 fine and ordered to pay an £81 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.

Thomas Jackson, 20, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B, in Blackpool on January 24 this year. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Jervis, 41, of Moor Avenue, Witney, admitted drink-driving a Toyota Hilux in Corn Street, Witney, on April 2 this year. Had 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35 microgramme limit. Handed a £450 fine and ordered to pay a £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.

Max Kirkwood, 20, of Newland Place, Banbury, admitted burglary by entering the Whately Hall Hotel in Horse Fair, Banbury, as a trespasser and stealing bottles of alcohol to an unknown value on January 14 this year. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Benjamin Mander, 36, of Stansfield Close, Headington, admitted fraud by false representation to Katherine Mander in Queen Emmas Dyke, Witney, between December 8 and December 10 last year intending to make £1,866 cash and an airline ticket for himself. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £1,866 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.

David Manly, 31, of Wellington Avenue, Banbury, admitted stealing a beef joint worth £9 belonging to the Co-op in Middleton Road, Banbury, on December 19 last year. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £9 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £45 costs.

Carly Miles, 31, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury, admitted drink-driving a Ford Fiesta in Edinburgh Way, Banbury, on April 2 this year. Had 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35 microgramme limit. Handed a £120 fine and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 15 months.

Hannah Shurey, 30, of Curbridge Road, Witney, admitted drink-driving a Seat Ibiza in Brize Norton Road, Carterton, on April 2 this year. Had 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the 35 microgramme limit. Handed a £290 fine and ordered to pay a £29 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Also banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 15 months.
