A fire involving two sheds spread to the surrounding trees and a house in Oxford yesterday.
Firefighters from Slade and Rewley Road stations were called to Collinwood Road just after 7pm, where they were able to put out the blaze.
Station Manager Simon Belcher said: "The crews did a fantastic job of controlling the fire before the gas cylinders exploded which could have caused extensive damage and potential injury".
The cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated by Police and Fire Service fire investigators.
