One woman has suffered an arm injury and whiplash in a four-car collision on the Oxford-bound A420 this morning.

The accident happened at the Buckland Road turn shortly before 7.50am and traffic is queuing between Faringdon and Buckland.

South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said staff were called at 07.47am to the crash on the Oxford-bound carriageway.

He added: "One of our off-duty officers is at the scene and an ambulance is on its way.

"Potentially just one female patient reported currently with a hand injury and whiplash."

It is not yet known if anyone else has been hurt.
