A man was taken to hospital after two cars and a lorry crashed on the M40.
The incident happened at about 7.30pm yesterday southbound near Junction 9 at Bicester.
South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said said one person was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
His condition is not known.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene and the road was closed until 8.40am today.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Gareth Ford-Lloyd said officers were not investigating the incident further.
