A cyclist has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a collision in The Slade, Headington late this morning.
The B4995 between Slade Close and Girdlestone Road was blocked for about an hour after the incident.
South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said: "We were called at 11.30am to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
"When the officer arrived it was a cyclist that had been knocked down.
"They are in a serious but not life-threatening condition ard were taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital."
Traffic is now easing along the road.
