CASH meant for the Poppy Appeal has been stolen from collection tins across Thame.
Thames Valley Police said it was stolen from tins in The Coffee House, in Buttermarket, Cafe Bobo, in Greyhound Walk, St Mary’s Church, in Church Road and the Masonic Hall in High Street.
None of the locations were covered by CCTV cameras, the force said.
The cash was stolen between Monday, October 19 and Thursday, November 12, but police have only just released details.
PC Matthew Huard of Thame Police Station said: "We want to appeal to the public to come forward if they saw anyone acting suspiciously around the collection tins in the above locations."
Anyone with any information should contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 and ask to speak with PC Huard.
