MAGDALEN College School and Oxford High School have both been named in the Sunday Times's top 200 independent secondary schools for 2015.
Both schools retain their place in the top 25 from 2014, with Magdalen College School ranked at 12 and Oxford High School ranked at 18.
Also making the list are St Helen and Katharine in Abingdon (22), Abingdon School (50), Headington School (57), Radley College in Abingdon (72), Tudor Hall in Banbury (106), d'Overbroeck's College in Oxford (146) and St Edward's School in Oxford (184).
The rankings are based on 2015 exam results, with extra weighting given to A* to B grades at A-Level.
In the list of top 200 state secondary schools, the Cherwell School was ranked 170 after rising 49 places since 2014.
