THE final lights show of the Oxford Light Festival to take place tonight has been cancelled, organisers have said.
The show, which sees festive images projected on to the Clarendon Building, in Broad Street, was to begin at 9.30pm.
Festival organisers Oxford City Council said the cancellation was due to "technical difficulties", and have apologised to visitors.
Shows took place last night as part of the opening to the festival, and hourly shows were held today from 4.30pm.
The lights for the show have been created by Anomic Multimedia, a firm which has previously been behind dazzling displays at the Tower of London and stages at Glastonbury Festival.
