EAGER jobseekers wanting to work at Bicester Village got to check out vacancies at the centre at a dedicated job fair.

The John Paul II Centre played host to employers, and prospective employees could come along and find about about careers in food, fashion, retail and more.

Miranda Markham, of Bicester Village, said: “It was a bit quieter than usual but that’s to be expected because we’re sort of in between seasons.”

Young people also took the opportunity to explore future career opportunities by perusing the stalls.

More than 22 employers attended.

Emily Bull and her friend Alex Applegate, both 15, went along to hunt for Saturday jobs for some pocket money. They spoke to Owen James, a floor supervisor at fashion store Michael Kors, about possibilities in the store.

Emily said after their meeting: “I think I would enjoy working at Michael Kors because I like meeting new people and I’d like the experience.”

The fair was held on Tuesday between 4pm and 7pm.
