Crane causes hold-ups on Oxford's Eastern bypass
An 80-tonne crane has broken down on the slip road to the eastern by-pass this evening.
Police were called to the slip road to the A4142 at about 6.35pm after it broke down trying to join the westbound carriageway towards Rose Hill off the Cowley Road roundabout.
A cordon has been put around the yellow construction vehicle, but Thames Valley Police said repairs will take until about 8.30pm.
It is not known how the crane broke down but no was injured.
Drivers have been warned to expect delays.
