A STAR-STUDDED line-up will grace this year’s Blenheim Palace literary festival that starts today.
Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo and eldest daughter of Nelson Mandela Dr Maki Mandela will be among speakers at the four-day festival.
This year the event has been rebranded the Blenheim Palace Festival of Literature, Film and Music to reflect its wide-ranging programme.
Festival co-founder and deputy chairwoman Jill Dunsmore said: “We hope to have a bit of something to suit everyone’s taste, from talks on cooking with Gino D’Acampo to the former head of motorsport’s governing body Max Mosley speaking about his life and autobiography Formula One and Beyond.”
Other highlights include Turkish Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk, who will be launching his first new novel in six years.
There will also be a preview of festival partner ITV’s detective drama series Endeavour, which has featured many Oxford backdrops such as Market Street in the city centre.
