An Oxford man arrested during a series of raids targeting animal rights extremists has been released on police bail.
The 50-year-old man, from a caravan site at Redbridge Hollow in Oxford, was arrested yesterday during a widespread police operation across the UK, Belgium and Holland.
The man was released earlier this morning but Hampshire Police, who are running the investigation, would not reveal what he was arrested on suspicion of.
Fifteen men and 17 women, aged between 19 and 68, were arrested at 30 locations yesterday.
Today, 17 were remanded in custody, 14 were released on police bail and one man was released without charge.
