George Morgan, 26, of Denchworth Road, Wantage, admitted assaulting Emma Molyneux by beating her and damaging a door handle and cracking the windscreen of her BMW in Wallingford Street, Wantage, on July 5. Given a community order requiring participation in a Building Better Relationships programme for 31 days and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £225 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Amjad Mohammed, 35, of Randolph Street, Oxford, admitted stealing groceries of value unknown from Morrisons in Cowley Road on May 13. Also admitted a separate charge of stealing £70 worth of meat from the same shop on the same date. Also admitted stealing three packets of mince, two packets of smoked bacon and four packs of sirloin steak, worth a total of £38.98, from Iceland in Botley on June 11 and stealing two bottles of Smirnoff vodka, two of Jack Daniels and one of Russian Standard vodka worth £96.99 from the Co-op in Botley on June 15. Sent to prison for 35 days because the offending was so prolific, and ordered to pay £215.97 compensation, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Paul Kitchen, 26, of Marlborough Place, Eynsham, admitted assaulting Daniella Collis by beating her in Dovehouse Close, Eynsham, on June 7. Also admitted criminally damaging a coffee table and a glass door pane belonging to Seonaid Kitchen at the same address on the same day. Given a community order requiring participation in a Building Better Relationships programme for 31 days and ordered to pay £31 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, £40 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Neil Parker, 25, of Rowleigh Lane, Besselsleigh, near Abingdon, admitted criminally damaging a mobile phone to the value of £750 belonging to Liberty Brind in Didcot on May 7 and criminally damaging a mobile phone to the value of £539 on the same day belonging to Susie Davro. Julian Gunnett, 39, of Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, admitted stealing purses of unknown value from Julia Radlinger and Emilie Laliere in Oxford on July 17. Julie Grant, 43, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote in Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on April 28, by failing to comply with an electronic monitoring requirement in May this year. Fined £50.

Konrad Mikolajuk, 23, of Fairlie Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Hollow Way, Cowley, on August 1. Had 155 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath ,more than four times over the 35mcg legal limit. Also admitted driving on a public road without valid insurance on the same date, and a separate charge of assaulting Daniel Irving by beating him in Blackbird Lets Road on February 8. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
