Land was earmarked for housing 20 years ago
THE Field Close land to which Mr John Brown refers ( Villagers outraged by housing proposals, Tuesday’s Mail) was earmarked for further housing over 20 years ago when The Paddock was developed.
The end of Field Close was left open for future access to the site. On a positive note, the construction traffic might prevent some of the inconsiderate and sometimes dangerous car parking which currently occurs.
