The police helicopter was used to hunt a man who fled after a collision at a pub car park.
The incident happened at about 9.30pm yesterday when police were called to reports a silver Ford Focus had collided with two others at the Six Bells pub car park in Beaumont Road, Headington.
Police said a man in the Ford fled the scene and was pursued by officers and the helicopter before the chase ended about 15 minutes later in a nearby street.
A 25-year-old man from Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stay at the scene of a collision, dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drugs or drink, driving while disqualified, possession of class B drug cannabis, and driving without insurance.
The man is currently in police custody.
